Greetings, my friends!
I know, it's been a very long time since I've written in my journal. There just isn't much to say...I go to the park, I pitch, I come home, I talk to the flowers in my garden...that's all I've ever done, really. Nothing more to know about Pedro. Life on the Mets is very pleasant, but a bit dull sometimes. It's hard to get excited when you're at the bottom of the division, but we have fun. Some nice kids here. We might have had Manny, if Kevin and David hadn't said God knows what to him. :P Kevin, what did you say to him? No, never mind-I don't think I want to know. :) And, whom am I kidding? The Mets are not going to the playoffs, not if they had Manny AND David. Who cares, I still get my wins , it's all about the joy of playing the game! I still pay attention to the Red Sox, of course. I can't believe they're doing so well without good pitching! Good thing the Yankees are playing so badly. It's still fun to read the news every day, and see what ridiculous thing Johnny or Kevin are saying to get themselves in trouble-I miss my crazy guys! Schilling closing-that is funny! Watch out, Mariano. :) Who, me make fun? Pedro would not do that, he only comes to the park and pitches. Anyway, glad to see most of you are doing well. I'm sorry you got traded, farnsworthalot, I know you will miss your team very much. Dougie, stop all your whining, it gives us all headaches , please cheer up, it makes me sad to see you like this! Well, after today, the Yankees are no longer my daddy! :) They are the bullpen's daddy, though but everyone is the bullpen's daddy , and once again, no win. But, the boys are playing very well. You can all laugh, and I know you will, but I think the Mets will win this year. What, you don't think God has a sense of humor? Current Mood: amused | | Tuesday, May 3rd, 2005 | | 11:06 pm |
Another day, another dollar.
Tonight Tom Werner stopped by to give Doug and I our rings. He's not a bad fellow unlike those assholes Epstein and Lucchino , and he said some nice things. I will treasure it forever-I miss my boys. Things are going well...why wouldn't they be? I think I could start pitching left-handed, and still strike out these NL East hitters. I'll have to rest up for the Cardinals, though, and the Astros if I go against Clemens. I was just told that if we stick to the current rotation, I will not face the Yankees at all in May or June! That will not do...the people at Yankee Stadium want to see Pedro, and I want to see them, too! I will get them all out if it's the LAST thing I do, I don't care if my arm falls off-I am never hearing "Who's your Daddy" again. :P I will ask Willie about changing the rotation. Hopefully he will be kind enough, but I can only ask-I am but a humble employee, he is the boss! I don't know how people get these ideas about me-they're even spreading rumors that I don't want Michael to catch for me, just Ramon. That is crazy-I love Michael. By the way, if any of you could be so kind, I'm trying to find that funny picture of me from Spring Training, with the ball on my head. I can't find it anywhere, and I would like it as an icon. If anyone can find one, would you be so kind to post it? :) Current Mood: content | | Friday, April 29th, 2005 | | 2:17 pm |
Hello, all
I know you're all been thinking, it's nice to have all these ballplayers on livejournal to talk to, but they're not Pedro...where's Pedro?? So, here I am, my dear fans. :) I don't have much time to write, I am VERY busy being New York's new darling, but I will do what I can to respond to your fan mail posts. While I think the Red Sox management is...how do you say...an evil bunch of monkeys, the fans and players of the Red Sox are still very dear to my heart. I miss big Papi and Manny's hugs, Kevin's jokes, Varitek making it all so easy, and of course, Derek. But, it is the way it is. I must laugh, though-those Red Sox are doing SO WELL without Pedro. :P What do they need me for when they have the great Schilling, and that old workhorse, Wells? Oh, wait-they don't. HAHAHAHA!!! Forgive me, I wish them well, of course. :) |
